POSITION SUMMARY:

The Stock & Sales Associate is responsible for receiving products in a timely manner, identify shipping discrepancies by referencing packing slip, reporting damaged cartons/products, identify low stock items, moving boxes in a safe manner to/from storage unit, replenishing shelves and tables in boutique using L’Occitane schematics. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, building brand awareness and will have weekly KPI goals.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Receiving product in a timely manner under the supervision of the Boutique Manager

  • Ability to identify shipping discrepancies by referencing packing slip

  • Reporting damaged cartons/products

  • Completing weekly Shipping Survey

  • Safely moving boxes from storage unit to/from boutique following the Safe Lifting Techniques and maintaining the organization in the storage unit

  • Identify low stock items and communicating immediately to Boutique Manager

  • Replenish shelves and tables throughout the boutique following the L’Occitane schematics and merchandising guidelines

  • Assist with merchandising, campaign changes, kit building and gift wrapping

  • Unpack products in a safe and timely manner

  • Breaking down/separating all recycling and garbage items, and disposing according to mall/street front requirements

  • Providing excellent customer service to all customers through excellent product knowledge communication

  • Assist customers with their choice of products

  • Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to POS usage

  • Communicate with all Head Office departments as required (Marketing, Retail)

  • Creating and maintaining all inventory related documents

  • Completing other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience of general labour

  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed

  • Ability to build and nurture long term customer relationships

  • Ability to remember ingredients, our True Stories and product knowledge


Working conditions & Physical requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout work day

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
