Who you are

As a warehouse employee you are a real night owl and you like to do physical work. Next to that, you are:

• Available for full time: which is (on average) 34 hours at the moment
• in possession of your own transportation to get to PostNL Breda
• in the possibility to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)

What will you do

As a warehouse employee at PostNL in Breda you will make sure that everyone gets their parcel on time. This includes various tasks. At the start of your shift you will get a kick-off. The tasks will be divided during this kick-off. I will tell you all the details one by one. First of all, we have the loading and unloading of the trucks. That’s quite self-explanatory, right? Secondly, you may have the department ‘opvoeren’. This means that you have to take the parcels from the roll containers to the conveyor belt. Lastly, we have a department for the sorting of parcels. You will get a hand scanner and you have to scan the postal code. Afterwards, you have to put the parcel in the right container. Sounds easy, right? But please don’t forget that you are working heavyweight parcels up to 25 kg. You also have to walk a lot, sometimes you even walk more than 10 kilometers per day. So, enough reasons to cancel your gym registration!

Where will you work

You will be working in the distribution center of PostNL. PostNL has various warehouses throughout the country, one of those is located in Breda. It’s good to reach by bicycle and by car. Everyday a group of roughly 80 employees will be ready to process all the parcels.The group of warehouse employees consists of different nationalities, so it will be handy if you speak English.

• Working hours between 17h30 and 03h00;
• Working days between Sunday and Friday
