Warehouse Receiving Clerk (Austin)

As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding their staff and seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk to join the FSG - Austin team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Warehouse Receiving Clerk you will check incoming shipments for accuracy, store, and stock material within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, demonstrate professionalism and adhere to safety standards at all time.

A Warehouse Receiving Clerk will:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute material within the warehouse
• Sort and place materials in designated areas in the warehouse
• Ensure warehouse is meeting safety and cleanliness standards
• Record distribution of materials and assure resupply of materials as needed
• Assist in counting of inventory
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
• Wear and use designated safety gear as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• MUST be able to meet physical demands of regularly lifting/moving objects up to 50lbs
• MUST be able to pass a background screen; drug screening if using machinery
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Experience in lighting and electrical a plus!
