We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and dedicated Warehouse Worker.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Worker is to perform the warehouse work necessary to support the daily operations of True Blue- People Ready Company. This includes receiving and sorting product, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load and unload trucks.
• Pick orders using a RF scanner gun or other hand-held devices.
• Sort orders based on shipping time, quantity, size, etc.
• Receive and process all incoming product.
• Verify accuracy of received product.
• Verify accuracy of received product. Post received product for assembly using computerized computerized machines or manual computers.
• Verify accuracy of assembled products using manual computers.
• Verify accuracy of assembled products using manual computers.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, etc. (cleaning etc.)and restocking as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Must have 2+years in leadership experience
·Must be able to read and write in English.
·Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat & reach overhead. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
·Must have good attention to detail.
·Must have basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills with regard to measuring & weighing units & measuring units of different sizes.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Experience level:

• Lafayette, LA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
