The Grocery Outlet is looking for an Order Selector to participate in our Distribution Center operations and activities. D.C Order Selector's responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

This position is a direct hire opportunity with the Grocery Outlet located in Sacramento, California.

Pay: $19.00 per hour plus production incentives
Work Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week; Over-time available

Day Shift:

5am-1:30pm
Mandatory weekend availability
2 consecutive weekdays off

Swing Shift:

3pm-11:30pm
Fridays & Saturdays off every week

Responsibilities:

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process Distribution Center stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Operate and maintain Distribution Center vehicles and equipment
Wear the proper safety equipment

Requirements:

Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and turn body as needed for 8-10 hours per shift
Must be able to operate a riding pallet jack
Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
Physically able to operate manual pallet jack if needed
Familiarity with modern warehousing safety and procedures
