Warehouse Worker

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Worker performs all necessary functions for the successful arrival, departure and delivery of specific products within the business segment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Matthews International is seeking committed, hardworking Warehouse Worker to work in the Stone Mountain, GA area for our Service Center within our memorialization business segment. The Warehouse Worker will be performing all functions for the arrival, departure and delivery of specific products within our memorialization business segment including the loading, unloading and inventory process.

  
  This is a Part Time position, approximately 25-30 hours per week, starting at 4am. M-F. The shifts last from 4 - 6 hours daily. The hourly pay rate is $22-hourly.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, or crouch; and talk, hear and see.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
