This role will be a contract position that falls under the Operations organization through the Operations Optimization department reporting through Plant Logistics and Maintenance to an Inventory Control Supervisor. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for the master data accuracy supporting the inventory, ensuring the right part is available at the time, and assisting site operations with managing part deliveries
Responsibilities:

Match delivery notes to what is delivered.

Send packing list to ICS to systematically receive.

ICS will return the packing list to the contract worker (CW) with part numbers and bin locations

Contract worker will label parts and put them in the correct bin locations

Assist in warehouse cleanliness and work with ICS to consolidate parts and update bin locations when space constraints are present.

Provide parts to the technicians after work orders are provided

Create maintenance kits

Utilize a sign out sheet for part usage confirmation.

Return unused parts back to the correct shelf.

Unload trucks when deliveries arrive.

Perform weekly routine spot checks for inventory accuracy.

Prepare shipment if items need to be sent back to vendor.

Perform any other tasks assigned.

Will need to get a CPR/Frist Aid training and hold a Forklift Certification after starting.
Qualifications:
-
Must have High School degree.
-
Forklift and warehouse experience preferred.

Must be able to sit, walk or stand for a long duration of time. (Over 2/3 time)

Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl. (Under 1/3 time)

Must have the ability to identify and distinguish colors. (Under 1/3 time)

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. (Under 1/3 time)

Typical work hours are from 7-3:30 with the potential to change dependent on the workload. (6-2:30 during summer months)

Must be able to work in extreme temperatures. (not a climate-controlled area)

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to interact effectively and professionally with various levels of personnel and departments, vendors and able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

Initiative – Able to work with minimum supervision and make decisions for all issues related to his/her discipline(s) with limited and/or available information.

Technical/Functional Knowledge – Strong understanding of inventory processes, familiar with Excel and able to become certified and maintain the ability to operate a forklift and become CPR and first aid certified. Minimum intermediate Office Suite computer skills and knowledge.

Problem Solving – Ability to research and correct invoicing issues, inventory discrepancies, and goods issue/goods receipt, be able to follow prepared work instructions, sourcing other parts with the aid of procurement and engineering.

Flexibility – Adjust readily to changes in direction and work priorities while working efficiently to complete assigned tasks and achieve goals.
