Victaulic is currently seeking Warehouse employees to work at our New England location.

Job Summary: Responsible for the safe and accurate, picking, packing loading and shipment of all inbound and outbound material

Specific duties and responsibilities:

• Understand and follows all safety guidelines and proper PPE practices
• Pick, pack and load all orders as required
• Review all packsets to account for special notes or instructions
• Utilize the Branch Locator system for all transactions
• Receive and inspect incoming material from Victaulic subsidiaries, customers and outside vendors
• Maintain an accurate inventory utilizing cycle count and good inventory management practices
• Housekeeping and maintenance to keep the building and property clean and neat
• Assist “will call” customers as required
• Adheres to all established policies, procedures and the code of ethics
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Distribution Manager or Distribution Center Coordinator

Qualifications (education, experience, personal attributes)

• High School diploma or GED required
• A minimum of 3 years prior warehouse experience
• Basic inventory management skills
• Proven ability to do simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Previous forklift experience
• Forklift license for required all specified equipment (must be obtained after employment)
• Experience with forklift-mounted computers and bar-code scanners (can be trained on the job)
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
