Warrant Technologies is seeking a skilled Engineer, Computer IV (CWF) / Software Developer (EC4) to join our team in a hybrid role based at CTR Facility and Crane. This low senior-level position focuses on researching, designing, developing, and testing software systems for Department of Defense (DoD) Surveillance, Command and Control, and Weapon Systems. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of software development experience, with expertise in Linux-based environments using C, C++, and Java, and proficiency in Agile or similar methodologies.

In this role, you will lead software development teams, mentor junior developers, and manage tasking and reporting for specified DoD projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet mission-critical standards. This position combines advanced technical skills with leadership responsibilities, contributing to innovative solutions that support our nation’s defense.

· Design, develop, test, and evaluate software for DoD Surveillance, Command and Control, or Weapon Systems using Agile methodologies.

· Develop and maintain software for Linux operating systems, leveraging C, C++, Java, and other relevant programming languages.

· Manage tasking, reporting, and activities of software developers under assigned projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

· Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and skilled team environment.

· Analyze user needs, design software solutions, and integrate new technologies to meet project requirements.

· Resolve complex technical problems related to software systems and algorithms, ensuring robust performance and reliability.

· Oversee the integration and testing of software components, maintaining high standards of quality and functionality.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Education: 

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science.

· Experience: 

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.

10+ years as a Senior Developer, with proven expertise in developing software for DoD Surveillance, Command and Control, or Weapon Systems.

Extensive experience with Linux OS and proficiency in C, C++, and Java programming languages.

Demonstrated strength in mentoring, team management, and leading software development projects using Agile or similar methodologies.

Requirements:

· Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.

· Work Arrangement: Hybrid position requiring on-site work at CTR Facility and Crane, with flexibility for remote tasks as needed.
