Scheduled Hours37.5Position SummaryDevelops and manages strategies, key initiatives and business partner relationships, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and common goals are achieved within established timeframes to drive optimization. Will be primary contact for designated business partners and can facilitate communications with senior leadership. Will also lead strategic sourcing efforts.Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:• Manages relationships and contract execution and key initiatives with strategic business partners to drive optimization.• Works closely and collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to execute contract and strategic initiatives. Identifies critical resource expertise and targets appropriate internal and/or external sources to ensure optimal outcome(s) to strategic initiatives.• Develops and deploys strategies to successfully implement strategic initiatives and proactive strategic sourcing.• Serves as primary contact for designated strategic business partners and facilitates strategic communications with senior leadership.• Oversees preparation of strategic initiative reports and organization of business review meetings with strategic partners.• Establishes and continually monitors/manages contract and initiative expectations with team; identifies issues for resolution to ensure optimal team effectiveness.• Prepares strategic initiative reports. Prepares and maintains status reports and schedules; tracks milestones/deliverables, critical paths and dependencies; re-sets expectations as needed in consideration of project progress/outcomes.• Collaborates with team members both internal and contracted to ensure optimal outcomes; builds, develops, and maintains relationships vital to partnership success.• Works collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership, and other related staff to define and identify all required infrastructure needs to ensure successful launches and ongoing project operations.• Focuses efforts and resources on diverse areas of implementation that best serve the University holistically. High focus on DEI initiatives within partnerships and across the University to ensure department goals and the University mission is achieved.• Ensure sustainability is a key focus within projects and partnership initiatives.• Organizes business review meetings with strategic partners on at least a bi-annual basis with internal and external stakeholders.• Facilitates administrative policies and work groups.• Communicates with other departments and university administrators and resolves or assists with the resolution of sensitive issues.• Performs other duties as assigned.Working Conditions:Job Location/Working Conditions• Normal office environmentPhysical Effort• Typically sitting at a desk or tableEquipment• Office equipmentThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
