Frontend Software Engineer (React)

The WeAre Platform is a fully scalable and customisable solution, featuring over 75 game providers, 6,400+ games, and support for multiple currencies, along with access to over 80 payment methods. WeAreTechnology Group enables operators to build their own casino, sportsbook, lottery, fantasy, or poker business precisely as they envision it.

In this role, you will need to:

• Be able to understand proficiently and correctly use all the basic software languages required for front-end development, like but not limited to HTML, CSS, Javascript and React.

• Implement the requirements given in the form of User Stories or other types of tickets with quality and aesthetic sense.

• Choose and make proper usage of all methodologies required like Agile or CI/CD.

• Plan all areas of software development required for a request in an efficient manner.

• Implement proper code for both front-end and back-end systems in a timely and accurate manner.

• Follow best practices and policies for coding (comments, quality of code, security, etc).

• Be able to maintain the software by updating or improving the code.

• Support the code developed within the team. Collaborate with the team in innovating, improving and generating ideas for growing as a team within the organization.

• Discover and fix possible glitches and bugs.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Be able to comprehend logic parts of the code written in PHP.

• Be able to navigate, make use of, and update different areas of the back-office.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile principles, Quality, Security and CD concepts.

• Comfortable with a “you build it, you run it” culture.

• Hands-on experience in React and a deep understanding of Javascript, HTML, CSS and Frontend technologies in general.

• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as GIT.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

• Experience or knowledge of igaming betting systems (Casino games, odds, betslips, etc.) 

• Basic understanding of Linux systems and backend technologies, like PHP or MySQL.
