Commercial Counsel (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Commercial Counsel to join our amazing Legal team, focusing on various commercial matters, drafting agreements, providing legal advice on data privacy and security, and being a cannabis law subject matter expert.

Skills

Strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial transactions
Knowledge of global privacy and consumer protection laws
Experience advising clients in regulated industries
JD degree and active membership in at least one US state bar

Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate, review, and interpret commercial agreements
Provide advice on data privacy and security matters
Create and improve processes, agreements, and policies
Assist in updating privacy policy and terms of use
Advise business partners on legal issues and risks
Become a cannabis law subject matter expert

Education

JD degree and active membership in at least one US state bar
