Paralegal (Hybrid)

Weedmaps is seeking a motivated Paralegal to provide support to the Legal Department on a wide range of legal matters and administrative tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with Paralegal certification
3 years of paralegal experience preferably in a law firm or in-house setting
Highly confidential handling capability
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Excellent written, oral, and organizational communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office, G-Suite, and legal software
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

Assist in-house attorneys on various legal matters including compliance, litigation, and transactional matters
Track, coordinate, and manage litigation matters including document productions and drafting responses
Assist with internal projects related to compliance, employment, intellectual property, and more
Maintain legal filing systems, review legal agreements, and prepare legal documents
Research legal statutes, regulations, and prepare memos to support legal inquiries
Provide administration support to the Legal Department and handle other assigned duties

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Paralegal certification
