About This RoleWells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst who will manage efforts to identify, monitor, remediate or escalate data issues, unapproved data sources, and data defects in the Corporate Functions (CF) Data Domain team. This person will collaborate with the CF Data Domain Management, CF Data Execution, and Enterprise Data Governance teams to ensure timely resolution of data deficiencies. This position reports to the Strategic Data Source and Data Deficiency Director in CF.In This Role, You Will• Organize and lead complex initiatives to ensure that strategic data is leveraged in sourcing for high-risk use cases and data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes• Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues• Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality in CF• Monitor and report on remediation efforts toward strategic data sources for current unapproved sources used in high-risk use cases.• Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standard and procedures• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution• Formulate, summarize, and customize data results and to provide specific action and remediations steps to key stakeholders• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff memberRequired Qualifications:• 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:• 5+ years of process improvement experience• Experience in making and delivering executive presentations• Financial industry experience• Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, and risk management• Relationship management experience with business and technology partners• Knowledge and understanding of data integrity management practices and procedures• Knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements• Experience working with cross-functional teams to support a variety of large-scale programs, services and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity and risk, working collaboratively across multiple business groups.• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to interact with and influence all levels of an organization• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment• Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change• Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships• Prior experience leveraging data quality software such as Informatica or Ab Initio.• Advanced Excel SkillsJob Expectations:• Ability to travel up to 10% of the timePosting End Date:7 Aug 2024• Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value DiversityAt Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace; accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.Employees support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.
