About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Merchant Services Head of Relationship Management. Wells Fargo Merchant Services specializes in providing card acceptance solutions, including core processing, gateways, fraud management and invoice presentment to businesses of all sizes. WFMS is nationally recognized for its ingenuity and reputation as a leader in the electronics payments industry.The Head of Relationship Management will provide strategic direction, financial management and leadership for all aspects of the of Merchant Services Relationship Management organization. Key responsibilities include leading the team, and partnering with product, credit, service, risk, technology, and distribution. This role will have frequent interaction with banking leadership across our Commercial and Corporate Bank, including Treasury Management and will proactively drive expansion of the business through deepening existing relationship and supporting new customer acquisitions. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:• Manage the CB/CIB segments in merchant, as a business (including P&L management) and making decisions in the day-to-day that align to business objectives• Manage and develop a Merchant Services Relationship team of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk• Deliver against growth and attrition performance goals through consistent business routines and sound relationship management• Build high performing teams through strong hiring, talent development and performance management• Engage and influence banking partners, stakeholders and internal Merchant Services partners to drive business, garner support and partner to achieve shared goals• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and development of service standards and goals within Merchant Services• Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Merchant Services Relationship Management team to resolve complex problems or inquiries• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Merchant Services Relationship Management• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyRequired Qualifications:• 8+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education• 4+ years of Management experienceDesired qualifications:• 4+ years of Merchant Services management experience, including managing managers• Experience working directly with commercial banking and corporate banking customers• Public speaking experience, including industry and internal events• Experience successfully leading teams through transformational change• Highly refined communicator, with experience presenting effective and influential presentations to senior management and other levels of the organization• Operational risk management experience• Profit and Loss management experience• Experience leveraging data, analytics tools and resources to build reporting, make business decisions and solve problems• Strong prospecting, sales, and negotiation skills• Excellent client relationship management skills• Experience positively influencing, motivating, and directing diverse teams in a decentralized, and geographically dispersed environment• Proven ability to facilitate high impact conversations, manage and building relationships with leaders and team members, navigate conflict and negotiate for an outcome that balances the needs of the business• Experience articulating complex concepts in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levelsJob Expectations:• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time• Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening• This position offers a hybrid work schedule• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipJob posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.Locations:• 250 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX 75062• 150 E 42nd St New York, NY 10017• 1100 Abernathy Road, Atlanta, GA 30328• 550 S Tryon Charlotte, NC 28202• 1151 West Washington Tempe, AZ 98281• 1655 Grant St Concord, CA 94520• 1000 Louisiana St Houston, TX 77002Required locations listed above.
