As a Digital Product Designer for Open Banking, you will be expected to utilize your full range of product design skills (interaction design, visual design, design thinking, user research) in developing product experiences across a range of touchpoint by partnering with product owners, technology, and design peers and partners.You will lead insights-driven design efforts with a lean UX and agile approach to delivery. Key responsibilities will include crafting design solutions and delivering supporting artifacts, engaging with partners and customers to connect experience insights with design outcomes, participating in and contributing to agile planning and ceremonies, and consulting as necessary on design direction with peers and partners. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Participate in developing and executing customer experience solutions for online applications and websitesDevelop and execute customer experience solutions by employing a broad array of user centered design tools including: customer experience brief, site strategy, wireframes or visual mockups, site layouts, site maps, taxonomies, navigation schematics, task flows, design briefs, key screens, templates, prototypesReview and analyze business, user and technical requirements that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternativesAnalyze relevant internal and external sites and consult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practicesExercise independent judgment to guide risk deliverablesDesign, develops, tests, and refines prototypesPresent and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and direct managersProvide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teamsConsult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practicesCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with internal customersReceive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Deep knowledge and understanding of the digital and technology development process.Familiarity with iterative and agile development processes and basic knowledge of application layer design and front-end code frameworks (React, jQuery, etc.)Command of common design tools, most notably Figma, Sketch, and InVisionExperience with driving a customer experience change and using data and storytellingExperience with strategic planning and diagrammatic skills (Information Architecture), low fidelity wireframe production, high-fidelity design comp production, and design interaction specificationsAbility to ask appropriate questions, communicate effectively and persuasively to convey design solutions to a broad range of stakeholders: product managers, engineers, customers, etc.Past success defining, developing and reporting out on measurable customer experience KPIsComfortable with ambiguity and able to shape and drive work independentlyAbility to energize and motivate others; thrives in teams; highly inclusive and collaborative with proven ability to lead through influence vs. authorityExperience working effectively within a standards-aligned design environment and knowing when to push design system boundaries as necessaryJob Expectations:Hybrid work model - 3 days in office expected10% travel involvedThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorshipPay Range for San Francisco, California: $76,300 - $135,700 annuallyPay Range for New York, New York: $76,300 - $135,700 annuallyPay Range for Charlotte, North Carolina: $63,600 - $113,000Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
