About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to work closely with the Corporate Risk Governance organization to help in building and supporting an enterprise platform that can adapt to changes quickly to conduct Financial Crimes. Design, implementation, production support and monitoring to replace an existing case management application as well as help build the next generation investigations platform to support Financial Crimes Transaction Monitoring and Investigations. Participates in design, development and implementation of large and complex application. Work with onshore/offshore development teams. Works with developers and business partners to understand application defects, performance problems and data anomalies. Drives requirements and design discussions.In this role, you will:• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staffRequired Qualifications• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education• 4+ years of Java full-stack developmentDesired Qualifications• 4+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata• 4+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design• 3+ years of experience leading technical development teams• 2+ years of risk and regulatory compliance experience• 2+ years of Oracle Mantas, AML implementation experience• 2+ years of NICE Actimize ActOne/RCM implementation experience.Job Expectations• This is not a remote position.
