Title: SQL DeveloperLocation: Iselin, NJDuration: 9 monthsWork Engagement: W2Benefits on offer for this contract position: Health Insurance, Life insurance, 401K and Voluntary BenefitsSummary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.Responsibilities:• Will participate in daily Scrum calls and provide updates to team.• Communicate and coordinate with team on assigned tasks.• Provides the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, development, and implementation of large SQL databases.• Handles complex and critical database development initiatives, involving multiple disciplines and business groups.Qualifications:• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.• Advanced experience with SQL.• Extensive knowledge and experience with Hadoop, Hive, & Spark required.• Experience as a developer on complex projects• Previous experience working in an Agile environment.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Detail-oriented, with attention to quality• Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
