OVERVIEW

The Software Engineer is responsible for developing information systems by studying operations, designing and developing software components, and collaborating with others in a software development team to ensure that solutions are maintainable, scalable, and tested with focus in front-end development of solutions.

• Study information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes to formulate solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX (User Experience) personnel to understand priorities and ensure designs are refined through user testing.
• Document and demonstrate proposed solutions.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, and proposed solutions.
• Implement solutions following the software development life-cycle.
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment.
• Participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing work in a timely fashion.

• At least 2 years experience developing Front-End solutions with VueJS.
• Demonstrable professional experience implementing complex features in large software systems, following the software development life-cycle.
• Experience shipping code in an Agile SDLC.
• Able to apply continuous integration, develops, and automated testing concepts.
• Knowledge of paradigms, languages, and trends in the relevant domain.
• Familiarity with design patterns.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, queuing, caching, logging, security, and persistence.
• Able to add value to team discussions, prevent views persuasively with rational justifications, and solve disagreements constructively.
• Back-End development is highly valuable.

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Salary range: €36K to €42K
