Principal Backend Software Engineer

Goodwin is seeking a Principal Backend Software Engineer to help build the world’s premier charter technology solutions. Looking for someone experienced in backend development, AWS infrastructure, database schemas, and server-side applications.

Responsibilities

Act as the lead backend engineer, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering.
Design RESTful APIs for Private Jet Charter Broker/Operator solutions.
Maintain and scale AWS infrastructure.
Implement database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
Develop automated tests for regression testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements and backend system design.
Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Mentor and coach junior backend developers.
Provide production support during critical time periods.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
