Part-Time Component Repair Administrator


Job Summary

 

The Component Repair Intern will support Part Sales Managers, Repair and Overhaul Coordinator, Rotables Lead and MRO Component Services Managers with day-to-day activities associated with meeting Customer demand for Component Repairs.


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete teardown and paperwork for serviceable seat inventory
  • Support quote activity for Parts and MRO by locating and photographing components
  • Coordinates market price evaluation of SV Avionics and Rotables


Qualifications & Job Requirements
  • Hands on mechanical aptitude and ability to complete manual labor tasks
  • Effective problem-solving skills with strong follow through required on communication
  • Read and interpret Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC)
  • Ability to use tape measures, calipers, and basic tools

Education & Certifications: 
  • Enrollment in a local university or apprenticeship program preferred
  • Experience in Aviation or Mechanical / Engineering related projects preferred


Other Prerequisites
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
  • Available to work 20-25 hours per week on a mutually agreed schedule


Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
