Seeking a Research Manager to oversee a team of 10-12 Research Assistants, ensuring efficient data collection while focusing on team development and process improvement in a dynamic R&D environment.
Responsibilities: Manage and mentor research assistants, oversee training, maintain process documentation, consult on project staffing needs, and ensure compliance with IRB requirements.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience in psychological research, knowledge of study design and data collection processes, and familiarity with survey platforms
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field, minimum two years of team management and research experience, and strong skills in quantitative/qualitative methods and research ethics.

The Research Manager works in conjunction with the Director of Research Operations, Project Directors, and other research staff to manage our team of 10–12 Research Assistants and projects in data collection.
Their primary role is to manage, mentor, and coach all research assistants to ensure data collection on all projects runs efficiently and are fully staffed/supported.
Our ideal Research Manager enjoys and is successful at managing and developing a team and individuals, has psychological research experience, and enjoys problem solving and improving processes.
The Research Manager has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is a motivational people manager who embodies strong drive and determination to see their team thrive and projects move forward successfully. For this position, you must have the skills and experience to guide and develop your team, the flexibility to handle multiple projects, and the ability to manage bandwidths of both projects and your team members so that individuals are contributing effectively, and projects are meeting established milestones.
