Community Events Lead
Events for the managed locations for Organon ( “Organon Locations”)
Synchronized Community Event Manager for member company Organon
Generate a monthly calendar of community events for the Organon Locations
Build partnerships with Organon ERG’s to assist with achieving their goals and events at the Organon Locations.
Serve as the point of contact between Restaurant Associates and Organon for Organon Locations.
Work closely with food service vendor-partners to ensure that all related catering accommodations are entered into the reservations system and executed successfully
Manage food service for certain events (e.g., Her Day, Holiday party, Founders Forums)
Manage with lunch offerings and fire watch at Organon locations
Oversee large events and meetings for Organon Locations
Act as the point of contact for Organon founders’ hosting meetings & events
Short & Long term event planning
Plan large format Organon corporate events (e.g., Holiday party, HER Day, Founders Forums, etc.)
Multi-Purpose Room Management for the Organon Locations
Direct the actions and work with conference coordinators on organizing, directing and executing daily/evening functions throughout the account
Work directly with Corporate Services Teams on senior conferencing events
Participate in planning meetings, review the details of events, answer questions from staff members, and discuss relevant logistical matters
Develop positive relationships with facilities, the cleaning team and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
Proficient with conference room reservation procedure
Communications for the Organon Locations
Facilities Digital Communication Specialist
Generate monthly newsletters
Generate communications for facilities announcements through email & internal social networks.
Keep a calendar of building events (fire drills, evacs, etc.)
Manage sharepoint information sites (Hera)
Update screens for events, announcements, facilities changes, etc.
Events & Updates Marketing Manager
Recommend marketing strategy for ERG events
Generate marketing materials for events
Generate announcement flyers for screens
Facilities for the Organon Locations
Generate & post signage for any needs.
Assist the community team when necessary.
Desk maintenance when needed.
Respond to community team emails regarding meetings, events, registrations, general inquiries.
Organizations, administrative and people skills
1-2 years relevant experience
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to carry out responsibilities with little supervision, as well as juggle many tasks simultaneously
Ability to interact with customers in a professional and pleasant manner, on a daily basis
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Punctual, dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of details
Discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
A passion for delivering the Platinum Service Standard, so as to provide transformational service in hospitality
Ability to think strategically in terms of both short-term and long-term objectives and challenges
A mindset to take ownership and responsibility within and outside one’s job domain.
Relevant competencies would include self-confidence, willingness to learn and feeling comfortable with change and coordinating change
Demonstrating an appropriate level of assertiveness, with an ability to drive the business forward on an ongoing basis
