Whaley Foodservice, LLC is currently searching for an experience Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for meeting the daily, weekly and monthly parts and inventory needs of the branch location.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers both face to face and over the phone to fill parts needs.
Open service orders as needed in the computer system.
Close service orders for billing upon completion of order using the computer system.
Assist in resolving customer problems/complaints.
Research part requirements using computer system and equipment catalogs.
Check parts in and out of inventory at the branch location to ensure accurate inventory control.
Ensure return of warranty parts to corporate warranty department.
Maintain records on parts usage and return parts as appropriate to corporate warehouse.
Ship and receive parts and equipment for the branch.
Keep parts stock clean and organized.
Generate accurate purchase orders for parts to corporate office and outside vendors.
Perform perpetual inventory as required and assist in annual inventory.
Assist service technicians with information needed to resolve service issues.
If necessary, work with factories in obtaining correct parts for service needs.
Maintain a clean and professional office environment
Parts/Stock room and office environment.
Some lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
Some twisting, bending and stooping associated with stocking of parts.
Computer usage (mouse and keyboarding) approximately Requirements:
A High School diplomas or the equivalent in experience.
1-year previous administrative experience.
