Failure to meet this requirement will affect the individual's employment with Whole Foods Market.You will act as a pivotal point of contact, liaising with different departments to ensure effective delivery of goods and suppliesThe management of warehouses, logistics, and transportation systems falls under the purview of the Distribution and Facility Jobs departmentJob Type: RegularJob Description:Handles all inbound receiving duties involving the reception, inspection, cataloging, and inventorying of all the merchandise received and then arranges them in storage racks and carts.The expected hours of work for this job are 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday through FridayResponsibilities:• Unloading the trucks necessitates the precise counting, recording, and organization of the received shipments for storage and stocking.• Utilize a powered pallet jack/forklift with safety in mind, following OSHA and Whole Foods guidelines for product unloading and movement.• Scrutinize the quality of products as they arrive to ensure they meet Whole Foods Market's standards.• Precisely tallies the inventory to ensure the correctness of the order.• Apply label stickers to the product based on the labeling protocol to ensure an organized labeling record.• Sort out the items and put them in order to prepare for storage or staging.• Organize the product-receiving area efficiently by removing recyclable and waste items.• Put on board the truck all the recyclable items and other products that need to be shipped.• Verify that every piece of documentation required for the shipment is accounted for and properly filled out.• Keeping the work area tidy, sanitized, and structured is crucial for the workforce's well-being.• By conforming to OSHA's safety guidelines, you are actively promoting workplace safety and protecting the well-being of all employees.• Make sure to comply with the inbound door instructions.• Verification of common carrier paperwork and confirmation of driver check-in.• Unloading common carrier trucks and immediately loading them onto other trucks is termed cross-docking.• The first step to verify whether or not the received items are accurate is to confirm the quantities mentioned in the common carrier documentation.• Segment the product onto individual pallets.• Labeling pallets with identification tags can help improve the efficiency of the put away process.• Shift products to their assigned aisles.• Provide top-notch service that exceeds guest expectations.In addition to knowledge and skills, abilities play a vital role in determining a candidate's suitability for a job.
