The Install Operations Field Trainer is responsible for training and coaching employees in operational processes and best practices to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality in daily operations, specifically focusing on Field Technicians who are responsible for measuring and servicing windows. The Field Trainer for Install Operations plays a critical role in developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the field technicians.  The primary responsibility is to deliver hands-on training and support to our field technicians in various locations, ensuring adherence to company policies, operational standards, and safety protocols. This position requires extensive travel to different markets, conducting training, audits and providing feedback to enhance team performance.  This role reports to the Sr Director, Install Operations.   

• Train on accurate measuring techniques, teaching Vesta measure, Service and Audit 
• Train on and perform lead tests at customer sites  
• Provide on-the-job coaching to employees, offering real-time feedback and support to improve individual and team performance 
• Conduct assessments of team performance in operational tasks and identify areas for improvement 
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through employee feedback, observation, and performance metrics 
• Collaborate with managers to address observed issues and/or training needs  
• Mentor and guide team members to increase efficiency, productivity, and safety awareness 
• Stay proficient with all Window Nation products, install techniques, and service techniques 
• Visit residential customer sites to measure windows, door, sliding glass door openings 
• Ability to safely use an extension ladder to measure openings and perform services as needed 
• 75%+ travel may be required; regularly visit multiple locations to deliver training, conduct evaluations, and ensure consistent implementation of operational processes 
• Maintain a driving record that meets a company’s insurance standards 

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent  
• 3+ years professional experience measuring replacement windows with complete accuracy 
• 2+ years professional experience installing/repairing windows, roofing, siding, and related home improvement projects  
• Experience in training and developing field technicians 
• Valid Driver’s License 

• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel; experience with Customer Relationship management systems preferred  
• Capability to navigate various applications on an iPad  
• Customer-centric mindset  
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities 
• Superior time and project management skills  
• Ability to navigate a CRM system (i.e., Salesforce, Dynamics, Microsoft systems,) Vesta Measure, Service and Audit is a plus. Training will be provided
