Groundskeeper/Maintenance Helper

We are seeking a self-motivated and dependable Groundskeeper/Maintenance Helper to join our team in the Louisville, KY area. The Groundskeeper/Maintenance Helper will play a vital role in ensuring that the grounds of the community are attractive, orderly, and healthy. Property Name/Address: Lone Oak Apartments - 10001 Oak Bridge Cr., Louisville, KY 40219.

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week).

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday-Friday).

Compensation: $20.00 per hour. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Some experience in groundskeeping and/or basic maintenance.  
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
• Keep walkways, driveways, and other areas free from debris and litter.
• Plant, weed, and water flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
• Assists with maintenance work orders. 
• Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
