Qualifies requests and briefs.
Develops profit, sourcing, and negotiation strategy.
Point of contact for vendor destination management meeting requests.
Works closely with Client Services, Creative, Hospitality, and Production on vendor negotiations, vendor performance and unique programming ideas.
Maintains initiative-taking, positive, and open line of communication with client and account teams to ensure understanding of deliverable timelines and roles and responsibilities.
Leads program forecasting and updating business management system with current financials up until the file is turned over to operations.
Assist Client Services team in managing and planning site inspection documents.
As needed, arrange brainstorm and creative sessions for destination and programming ideation
Maintain final electronic files through the process as required by company standard operating procedures.
Prepare and conduct turnover meetings to the assigned Client Services Team
Develop and maintain excellent and professional working relationships with industry vendors and clients.
Look to develop workflow that will help strengthen the cohesiveness between other departments.
High-level of accuracy and diligence
Lead RFPs, RFIs, presentation deliverables and special projects as assigned.
You Have These:
Knowledge of MICE Industry
Certified Meeting Professional, Meeting Manager, Event Professional (CMP, CMM, CSEP), Project Management certifications or similar preferred
Minimum of 10 + years’ experience in planning, sourcing, and designing with a hotel, convention center, DMC, Production Company, or 3rd Party Agency
Strong Computer Skills: Excel, Word and power point
Initiative-taker, motivated, and resourceful
