  • Collaborate with key partners to determine dates, scope, and prioritization of initiatives.

  • Connect with key partners and management on vision, direction, release plans, and strategy.

  • Present the system’s mission, library, and process to other groups, including product managers, content specialists, QA, and other design and development teams throughout the company.

  • Identify partner concerns and production issues, mitigating functional challenges and improving customer satisfaction. Decisively resolving priorities, timing, risks, and possible breaking changes.

  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment across the design system organization to achieve our objectives.

About You

  • Strong facilitation and partner collaboration skills and are comfortable working side-by-side with leaders.

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse groups such as designers, researchers, and developers.

  • Ability to communicate clearly in whatever way the situation calls for – in writing, with visuals and data, with prototypes, and in person.

  • Develop a strategy, defend it, and win over key business partners

  • Deeply curious, and have a bias towards action. You are a lifelong learner, mentor & teacher: We want you to always look for opportunities to push beyond your comfort zone to develop & improve your individual superpowers.

  • Solid understanding of development, design, and research and ideally have worked closely with design, research, and development teams.

  • Excellent analytical abilities demonstrating good judgment and problem-solving ability.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
