About the Team
The Senior Global Mobility Tax Analyst in Atlanta, GA will be joining the Payroll Tax and Compliance team within the Finance Operations and Shared Services organization. This team leads compliance and mobility across the business. We’re a diverse group of people, with an invaluable mix of experience, and we support each other in our collaborative environment.About the Role
Workday is looking for a Senior Global Mobility Tax Analyst to support our growing compliance program. This role will be primarily responsible for assisting with the individual tax compliance of Workday’s global workforce and our business traveler program. You should have experience with personal tax filings and compliance programs.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Track and review shadow payroll for multiple countries.
Initiate expatriate related tax and payroll payment requests and review payroll outputs for accurate and compliant reporting.
Trace tax equalization (TEQ) payments and collections.
Compile expatriate home country payroll data and transmit to third party vendor.
Work closely with HR and vendor to verify assignment data.
Reconcile expatriate relocation benefits files for payroll reporting and gross up calculations.
Review mobility reporting and provide to accounting for accruals and cross charge.
Collect and assist with analyzing business traveler data, coordinate analytics and risk assessment processes.
Stay current with new and changing mobility and tax rules.
Address ad-hoc requests related to expatriates, remote workers and business travelers.
About You
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
5+ years combined experience in some of the following areas: global mobility, expatriate income tax, US and international payroll & tax compliance.
Demonstrates knowledge of tax rules and filing requirements within US and internationally.
Other Qualifications:
Mobility program compliance experience is a plus.
Experience in Big 4 accounting firm or a multi-national organization.
Professional user of Microsoft Office tools.
Experience with Workday Finance/HCM or similar software solutions is helpful.
Attention to detail is one of your greatest strengths.
You can multi-task and tackle multiple projects with opposing deadlines.
Your interpersonal communication skills are top notch.
People consider you an excellent teammate with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy researching tax issues.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
