The Opportunity - Union Paymaster (Remote - US) 

Join our team and take charge of processing union payrolls promptly, precisely, and in full compliance. As a Union Paymaster, you’ll showcase your expertise by efficiently handling all US union-related payrolls. We’re seeking someone with extensive knowledge of union contracts, ready to excel in ensuring seamless payroll operations.

What you’ll do:

• Handle union payroll processing on time, accurately and compliantly.

• Ability to synthesize complex collective bargaining agreements and simple mathematical rules.

• Schedule must be flexible to accommodate workload and client needs.

• Ensure correct interpretation of union agreements and other provisions.

• Understanding of and ability to manually check calculations.

• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and union contracts and interpretations.

• Build strong relationships with clients, union representatives, benefit plan representatives, freelance production personnel.

• Independently research issues as they arise and suggest options for resolution.

• Assist documenting process and procedures.

• Remain current related to contribution rates, contract issues, and reporting.

• Maintain 90% payroll processing accuracy.

• Stay within stated processing times for payrolls.

• Expected to meet or exceed productivity standards. 

• Maintains clear, well-documented notes in all systems to ensure all parties across the organization can understand the status of a payroll. 

• Complete timely adherence to resolving customer inquiries and other escalations by working and successfully resolving Salesforce.com cases. 

• Follow documented standard operating procedures.

What you’ll have:

• At least 5+ years experience in a multi-union environment.

• Technologically savvy- can learn new systems quickly and has a high-level of proficiency with Excel and Google Suite.

• Excellent Customer Service skills.

• Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate issues that are complex in nature, both verbally and in writing, through various mediums.

• Experience collaborating with clients and departments to identify needs, prioritize requests, and build effective relationships using tact and diplomacy.

• Able to multitask and work proactively and independently in an ever changing environment.
