The Opportunity - Senior Analytics Engineer II (Remote - USA / CANADA)
Wrapbook is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a hands-on role in driving our mission to build an outstanding technology company. In this impactful role, you'll transform raw data into high-quality, reliable datasets that provide actionable insights and support data-informed decision-making across Wrapbook. Working within a cross-functional team, you'll develop top-tier data models and products, taking a hands-on approach to building the infrastructure that powers our data strategy.
As a key member of the analytics team, you'll collaborate across departments to ensure essential metrics are accessible, consistent, and aligned with Wrapbook's strategic goals. You'll architect a cohesive data framework and translate it into scalable solutions that support our long-term vision. You'll also help shape the data team's culture by influencing processes, tools, and systems that enable more effective, scalable decision-making throughout the organization.

What you’ll do:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses to support growing analytics needs
Contribute to data team culture by influencing processes, tools, and systems that enable scalable, better decision-making
Create and maintain BI dashboards, catalog and document data sources, and provide training to foster data democratization, ensuring all teams have access to actionable insights
Develop and maintain high-quality, accessible data models aligned with business metrics to support exploration, analysis, and decision-making across departments
Manage data transformations by applying technical processes and business logic to raw data, ensuring clean and usable datasets for analysis
Collaborate with business partners and analytics teams to address short-term and long-term data needs, fostering alignment and informed decision-making across departments
Design, implement, and maintain efficient ETL pipelines from various data sources (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, Google Analytics to support timely data access
What you’ll have:
3+ years of experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets that drive business value
Desire to continuously learn and incorporate the latest tech and analytical tools into our tech stack
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into easily understandable language for stakeholders
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive, self-motivated approach to adapting in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment focused on iterative technical solutions
Extensive knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes, with strong SQL skills and expertise in code-based ETL frameworks like dbt, ensuring code reusability and processing efficiency
Proficient in Python, with experience in building and deploying predictive models
Familiarity with the modern data stack, including hands-on experience with tools such as Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Hightouch, or similar platforms
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Mode, Looker, Tableau, or similar), delivering data insights through reports and dashboards that drive business decisions
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
