Writer/Editor

Writer/Editors are responsible for interviews with SMEs to write or rewrite proposal documents, develops resumes, past performance references, and other proposal artifacts to deliver to the customer. The main job duties involve researching, writing and organizing ideas and editing.

Writer

Analyze RFP requirements and follow proposal outline when developing storyboards and proposal content
Participate in strategy meetings and collaborate with Graphic Design to develop graphics for assigned sections
Interview technical subject matter expects to write and/or rewrite proposal content
Develop Executive Summary, Resumes, Past Performance Volumes, and occasionally Small Business Plans
Produce a quality product the is compliant, compelling, and easy to understand
Incorporate win themes, hot buttons, and metrics consistently throughout the document
Ensure full compliance to RFP, outline, and proposal milestones

Editor

Analyze RFP requirements and follow proposal outline
Comply with established style guide instructions
Rewrite text to ensure the documents read as "one voice" with consistent tone and styles
Correct grammatical errors, define acronyms, ensure graphics/figures have action captions, and tables include titles
Ensure full compliance to RFP, outline, and proposal milestones
