A position at Xcel Energy could be just what you’re looking for.Job Description• We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Intern to support various recruiting activities.• The successful candidate may work in a hybrid work environment (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in-office, then Monday and Friday working remote, subject to flexibility per your school schedule).• These positions will be based in downtown Minneapolis, MN or the Denver, CO corporate office location. This position will require working 10-20 hours/week during academic periods, with the ability to work additional hours during non-academic periods based on departmental workload.The Talent Acquisition Intern will assist with various responsibilities including, but not limited to:• Manage the recruiting inbox• Learn Xcel Energy’s hiring processes.• Learn application tracking system.• Assist in coordinating and participating in recruiting events• Co-managing job requisitions (help with screening applicants for qualifications, etc.)• Scheduling interviews• Other TA tasks as needed• Job shadowingMinimum Requirements• Must be enrolled in a University for the 2024-2025 academic school year• Must be a junior standing or above• Ability to work 10-20 hours/week during academic periods• Previous internship/work experience preferredAs a leading combination electricity and natural gas energy company, Xcel Energy offers a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services to 3.4 million electricity and 1.9 million natural gas customers across eight Western and Midwestern states.
