Job Purpose

You will be responsible for a team of analysts who will be reporting and interpreting our fraud and risk data to identify trends and patterns in player behaviour. The role will focus on providing the guidance and support to the team as they work to identify high risk accounts, detect unusual activity, investigate and subsequently close suspicious accounts to mitigate risk and protect revenue losses to the business.


Areas of Responsibility

  • Team management of up to 5 analysts
  • Identifying key topics for OKRs
  • Managing Team KPIs
  • Identification of suspicious activity using the fraud monitoring tool and other systems
  • Reviewing and monitoring member account registration, Purchase and Redeem transactions
  • Performing initial investigations and taking immediate corrective action to mitigate losses to the business
  • Input into the development of new processes and systems to monitor and prevent fraud
  • Generate suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for Managers
  • Identify any areas for process/system improvement and support the team to make changes.


Requirements

  • Experience working with Seon or other fraud prevention tools, particularly with the definition and analysis of fraud detection rules within the platform.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Looker, or other BI reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Direct experience in the gaming or social gaming industry is a plus.
  • Any experience in the US market is beneficial.
  • Good communication, organizational, teamwork, interpersonal skills and multi-cultural diversity are essential.
  • Experience of working on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Data-driven and detail-orientated with good analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats.
  • A proven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic industry.
