Accounts Receivable Analyst

Department HeaderWork with the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Brand Teams (Control, Franchise Administration, Legal, Planning) and AR Cash Specialists to ensure the reliability and integrity of data recorded to Accounts Receivable for the KFC US Brand.Salary Range: $53,000 to $60,000 annually + bonus eligibility (if applicable). This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.Responsibilities• Ensure application of GAAP and Yum! Accounting Policies for KFC US AR accounting including AFDA, period over period royalty analysis, effective rate analysis, brand collection meetings, and miscellaneous billings and other entries.• Prepare and ensure timely completion of account reconciliations, journal entries, and other SOX control requirements.• Facilitate period and quarterly reporting for KFC US, including but not limited to pre-close meetings and assistance with the AR deck pages.• Assist in revising sales provided by franchisees and provide support in ensuring sales information is accurate and compliant with sales reporting guidelines• Oversee the monitoring of bank activity and recording manual payments as needed.• Involved in External/Internal Audit requests, SOX Peer Reviews, and special projects, as necessary.• Identify process improvement opportunities by working closely with Supervisor/Manager and IT to incorporate best practices and leverage system functionality• Oversee Krise and AR JDE system administration for KFC US such as the JDE FIC Table set upMinimum Requirements• Bachelors in Accounting (or related field).• 3+ years public or private industry accounting experience• Strong Computer Skills: Experience with JDE and Microsoft products (such as Excel Pivot tables, vLookup formulas, etc)• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills.Preferred Requirements• Experience with a large Company is highly regarded.• Experience in the QSR or retail environment.Yum!
