Hi there!
We're looking for a strategic, customer-obsessed senior product marketing manager to join our growing PMM team. We’re in the midst of hyper-growth and already serving the automation needs of a global community of 6.5 million professionals, but we’ve only scratched the surface of our nascent product category.
As we accelerate our growth with larger accounts and across new verticals, we are looking for an experienced product marketing professional that can define who to focus on, how to bring them into Zapier, and partner with our demand and sales teams to win them over. The ideal candidate can come in and quickly master our products, understands how to build a product-led sales business model, loves getting on calls with customers to learn and pitch them new messaging, and can create customer-ready content they can deliver and experiment with.
Over the last 18 months, we’ve stood up a brand new sales team. We’ve established our GTM foundations and motions. And to fuel our next chapter of growth, we built and recently launched a new Enterprise plan. We are on the hunt to achieve product-market fit with upmarket audiences and we need your help. You will play a leading role in finding, defining, and winning those new audiences. We’re looking for someone that works with a high-degree of agency and urgency. Success looks like someone that doesn’t wait for teams to get aligned they go build it, they use deep customer and product knowledge to develop strong opinions about our strategy and execution, and they use those informed opinions to go toe-to-toe with any Build or GTM leader to influence and partner up in building the future of our business.
If you want to advance your career at a fast-growing, profitable, impact-driven company, read on…
You’re experienced. You have 8+ years of experience in product marketing, most recently in SaaS with additional experience in relevant strategic and analytical roles. You've demonstrated mastery in core product marketing skills like positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging. You've led and developed go-to-market strategies to launch and scale products and features—and you've mentored others to do so, too.
You drive alignment with data. You're deeply curious about market needs, competitors, and usage patterns. You translate qualitative and quantitative findings into clear storylines that product and leadership teammates align around and act on. You use market trends and data to identify and validate new product opportunities. You prioritize opportunities and tactics that ensure achievement of company goals.
You thrive at working cross-functionally. You have a natural talent for ingesting diverse stakeholder needs in order to craft a clear path to success. You actively communicate with collaborators, drive visibility among stakeholders, and coordinate end-to-end planning and execution among many disciplines. You build partnerships across multiple teams that achieve exceptional results.
You’re customer-obsessed. You know your current and future customers better than anyone. You’re adept at tailoring your messaging and strategy to meet the needs of your core audience. You regularly conduct and consume research to understand how Zapier can better meet customer needs, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations.
You’re a go-to-market pro. You autonomously craft and lead product strategies that lead to meaningful value for the company and our customers. You position new products among existing offerings to maximize impact. You’re skilled at drafting product launch plans and working cross-functionally to bring products to market with measurable impact to customer awareness and adoption.
You’re an outstanding communicator, especially with project stakeholders. Your voice is clear and persuasive regardless of the audience, channel, or format. You’re equally comfortable drafting executive briefings, driving alignment on team-wide initiatives, crafting external product messaging for our customers, and everything in between.

We have content teams, but you love to work autonomously too, in order to work fast and get something into customers hands that you think will work. You can build customer-ready slides, write articles, build a webinar, and make demo videos as well as you can craft the strategies the content is distributed in.
At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of education or companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. All we ask is that you answer a few in-depth questions in our application that would typically be asked at the start of an interview process. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.
After you apply, you are going to hear back from us—even if we don’t see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. We know we’ll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!
