👋 Who you are

As a small team, we’re all generalists, constantly picking up new challenges. In terms of talent acquisition, we're looking for someone who can own the end-to-end hiring process and who can craft our processes for other fields of Talent Management, such as employer branding, performance management, and employee retention.

We’re looking for someone with an innovative mindset and quick execution abilities. Someone who is driven by a strong motivation to recruit the best senior key hires for our team and who has had rich experience in leading, building, and optimizing recruitment processes for tech startups or scaleups.

🚀 What you’ll do

  • Sourcing, outreach, and recruitment: hire our engineering and business team.

  • Employer branding: Contribute to developing and executing an employer branding strategy to enhance Zealy's visibility in our target talent pool.

  • Process optimization: Streamline recruiting processes to ensure an exceptional candidate experience, particularly for top-tier talent.

  • Track results: Implement tracking systems to assess the effectiveness of recruitment using key metrics and improve the outcomes of the hiring strategy.

✅ You’re perfectly qualified for this role if you have:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in talent acquisition, including 1 year in startup or scaleup environments, ideally recruiting tech roles.

  • Expertise: In sourcing and recruiting, particularly software engineers.

  • Multiple-hat: As a startup, our job scope is broader than that of larger corporations.

  • Location: Based in Western Europe.

  • Proven success in recruiting for startups, guiding them through the scale-up process.

  • Experience in employer branding.

  • Experience in sourcing and outreach beyond LinkedIn Recruiter.

🧑‍💻 How we work

  • Light in processes: 6-week sprints, 10-min daily meetings every morning, rotating bug duty week among devs and RFCs. That’s it.

  • Few meetings. The vast majority of the discussion happens asynchronously on Notion. We believe that extended periods of uninterrupted work are a requirement to build great products.

  • Think slow to go fast. Execution speed is a matter of life and death for us. We found out that the best way to go fast is to plan ahead.

  • Drivers not passengers: We're after people who can see a problem, come up with a solution, and ask the right questions along the way. We need problem-solvers, not just task-doers.
