VP, Corporate Affairs

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Corporate Practice to support a broad range of client needs. In this role, you will be working on programs involving reputation management, executive leadership, crisis communications, and national business media relations. You must think and do. We are looking for masters of the craft, who are excellent people leaders, client counselors and will roll up their sleeves and stay close to the work. You will succeed at Zeno if you are fearless, resourceful, tenacious, and curious.  


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute national business and trade media relations strategies.  
  • Understand and navigate key client industry issues. Identify potential opportunities / reputational threats.  
  • Lead the client service function for program planning, problem solving and strategic counsel. 
  • Maintain financial responsibility for accounts including forecasting and account profitability. 
  • Provide strategic counsel and guidance to clients and colleagues to ensure success. 
  • Secure, maintain and grow the business. 
  • Work across geographies and help shape direction and focus of practice. 


Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in Corporate PR, previous agency experience working with large Fortune 500 clients (particularly in the retail space) preferred.  
  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines. 
  • Credible success in providing sound counsel to clients and building credibility with senior level client contacts.  
  • Current track record of success in building relationships with national business media. 
  • Excellent writing skills, experience developing and delivering client and new business presentations. 
  • In-depth knowledge of reputation management and the business media landscape.   
  • Proven leadership experience, mentoring and developing junior talent. 
  • Think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs. 


$95,000 - $156,000 a year
Pay range: $95,000-156,000

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
