At Zero Homes, our mission is to electrify the world’s homes for healthy and sustainable living. With 145 million homes in the United States and residential buildings accounting for 20% of global climate emissions, there is an extraordinary opportunity to impact decarbonization. Zero Homes is pioneering the transition to an all-electric future with our technology. Our focus is on making home electrification accessible, affordable, and delightful. Join our team to help lead the charge and accelerate the energy transition.
About the Role & Your Impact
This is an exciting opportunity to create delightful homeowner experiences for electrification projects. You’ll be joining an early-stage team of talented engineers and seasoned climate tech leaders, helping us expand our current platform, as well as drive new greenfield initiatives. Some examples of software products that you will own include a web portal for homeowners to request quotes and a web-based design tool for HVAC systems. This is a generalist, individual contributor role. We work on small teams (1 designer and 1-2 programmers) in six-week cycles to take loosely defined projects and deliver new features. Along the way, you will design new systems, build project plans, and operate production applications. You will be given broad latitude to make project-level design decisions and expected to operate effectively with minimal oversight.
Zero Homes is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible experience for all candidates. We encourage you to apply even if you believe that you do not meet all of the above criteria!
If an employer mentions a salary or salary range on their job, we display it as an "Employer Estimate". If a job has no salary data, Rise displays an estimate if available.
