Zillow's Developer Experience (DevEx) team is building the next generation of developer centric solutions. Our work enables our product development teams to ship outstanding customer experiences with higher quality, velocity, and resiliency. As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you'll hold a key leadership role that impacts multiple business segments. We'll look to you to synthesize the needs of our business as well as our internal partners and drive key initiatives across our engineering teams! This role has been categorized as a Remote position. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role. In Colorado, the standard pay range for this role is $157,900.00 - $252,200.00 Annually. This range is specific to Colorado and may not be applicable to other locations. Who you are Has a broad understanding and empathy for software engineer needs, such as testing, release, and operational needs. Has at least 7years of product or program management experience and a detailed understanding of software lifecycle needs and management. Consistently seek and use data to inform decisions Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working with cross-functional partners to drive requirements Sees the value in developing a strong human connection with your fellow teammates. Is always seeking feedback and not hesitant to give constructive feedback. Is effective at saying no. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
