The data products advise our customers’ and Zillow Group’s understanding of the identity of a property, fueling concepts such as property valuation, price history, foreclosure status, and targeted communications.About The RoleWe are looking for an outstanding Senior Product Manager to lead the strategic direction and optimization of the property transaction data product areas, chart a roadmap to increase the quality and value yielded from this space, and find opportunities beyond the current product offerings. You’ll be directly aligned with an engineering team and work closely with partners in operations, as well as internal data consumer teams. The efforts you lead will pave the way to provide streamlined real estate data for Zillow Group, enabling accelerated innovation and analytics.This role will require you to:• Define the vision, strategy, and features of data products, communicating the impact and requirements using a variety of artifacts and presentations.• Drive the domain roadmap and product features from concept through validation, launch, and iteration.• Collaborate with highly capable developers to ship products in an agile, fast-paced environment.• Use qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize the right problems to solve and make trade-off decisions balancing consumer needs and business goals.• Build cross-team and cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment of goals and commitments, keep partners advised, collect input, and influence thinking.• Communicate the team's progress and success through all levels of the organization.This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $143,200.00 - $228,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.Who you are:• 5+ years of product management or similar experience, ideally working with data products and data management systems.• Familiar with agile development methodologies.• Strong leadership skills and highly developed product sense with an emphasis on collaboration, creative problem-solving, analytical thinking, and passion for new technologies.• Experience defining the most valuable outcomes and features, driving requirement conversations, and coordinating dependencies across teams and organizations.• Strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate opposing priorities.• Excellent written communication and presentation abilities, and can adapt your communications to each audience, from individual engineers to senior product leadership.• A natural tendency to put structure to complexity and disarray.• Passion for data and new technology.Get to know us:Zillow is reimagining real estate to make home a reality for more and more people.
