Minimum Qualifications: Education: • Master’s degree in health or business is . Bachelor’s in nursing and/or business is required. Experience: • Previous OR Business Manager and/or hospital supply chain experience required. • 5-7 years in health care, involving benchmarking of data. • Demonstrated progressive management experience, minimum 3-5 years. Operational Management: 1. Responsible for the day-to-day supply chain operations of the Supply Chain Surgical Services Department. • Leads his/her own team, manages, and maintains staff assignments, hires and performs employee review, trains, and coaches’ staff as needed, develops and reports department productivity KPIs. • Provides information to OR Leadership to help with the accuracy of the preference cards. • Assist hospital administrators and Perioperative leadership with requested reports and identify and manage cost savings opportunities. • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Revenue Cycle to ensure supplies and implants are loaded appropriately in EMR and ERP systems. • Coordinate and interface with Supply Chain Sourcing and Contracting for cost savings opportunities. • In conjunction with clinical perioperative leadership, identify standardization and utilization opportunities. • Define business requirements for supplies, implants, and capital to allow contracting to solicit bids appropriately. • Right-size the inventory within perioperative services to ensure the applicable inventory is available for physician and clinical use. • Drive the value analysis process to support the contracting and inventory management process. • Ensure vendors are abiding by all Albany Med Hospital policies. 2.
