Marketing Managers play a critical role in driving ZipRecruiter's growth. We run media across a wide variety of channels, and you'll be the front lines of decision making to scale those channels efficiently. This involves making data-driven media optimization decisions, leading creative tests, and managing vendor and agency relationships. Responsibilities:
Exercise independent judgment to manage budgets and strategy across online/digital marketing channels:
e.g. Facebook, TikTok, Snap, and other social media. Work with the in-house design and creative teams to iterate on our messaging and value propositions to make sure we're staying relevant and compelling. Manage a high performing team of analytical-minded media buying professionals, both as a direct manager and through agency relationships. Work cross-functionally (with marketing, product, sales, and more) and contribute to strategy for direct user acquisition and retention on both sides of the job marketplace. Work with marketing leadership to develop institutional expertise and best practices for Brand marketing through digital channels. Proactively keep up-to-date with platform, industry, and consumer trends - and test beyond them! Minimum
Qualifications:
5
years experience working in a highly analytical role, with practice in basic SQL. Able to proactively design and execute A/B tests and turn results into institutional knowledge. Deep understanding of digital advertising dynamics, including auction pricing, CPMs, CTRs, CPCs, and all the other C-level acronyms. Experience working with conversion pixels or conversion tracking APIs. Experience executing data-driven social media campaigns, with particular interest in up-and-coming channels like TikTok. Experience working with influencers/creators to develop content that drives user acquisition Proficiency with Excel/Sheets and the whole host of Google Suite tools. Preferred
Qualifications:
STEM academic degree. Diverse experience across in-house, agency, and publisher organizations. Leader with a history of hiring and retaining high-performing teams. Experience with large-scale brand lift studies (on or off-platform). Experience with mobile measurement strategy (and MMPs such as AppsFlyer or Branch).
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
