Role Description:The Employee Relations & HR Business Partner is a key member of the Human Resources. Reporting to the Global Employee Relations Lead, the Employee Relations & HR Business Partner helps to enable the Employee Relations and HR Strategy for the organization. This role is a global business- and HR- facing role, working with all levels of the organization and across functions. The role will be dedicated 75% to Employee Relations and 25% to HR Business Partnering for the assigned client groups.Responsibilities:Employee Relations Responsibilities:• Conducts employee relations investigations, including reviewing new matters, creating an investigation plan, conducting interviews, reviewing findings, and communicating outcomes.• Proactively manages cases, staying in communication with reporters and witnesses as appropriate from the start of the investigation process to closeout.• Consults with HR Business Partners leading investigations to provide guidance as a subject matter expert and helps to ensure investigations are completed in a timely manner.• Monitors and responds to reports through the "Safe to Say Helpline" and Employee Relations mailbox.• Supports regular metrics and reporting process, leading with data driven insights to prepare reports for Leadership.• Ensures proper maintenance of electronic employee relations records and tracking of cases.• Collaborates with HR Business Partners, Compliance and other COE's to partner on open matters and keeps them informed as appropriate.HR Business Partner Responsibilities:• HR Strategy: Collaborates with business leadership, managers, and colleagues as the HR strategic advisor for the assigned business group(s), focusing on the people strategy and talent management priorities• Advises managers on colleague development in alignment with business strategies by suggesting a variety of development activities (i.e., rotations, projects, etc.)• Drives talent review, succession planning and other organizational initiatives in support of our talent development strategy.• Collaboration within HR: Drive HR program and service delivery effectiveness and collaborate with the HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Total Rewards and Talent) and HR Leadership to deliver effective HR solutions aligned to business strategies• Embrace and maximize the HR Service Delivery model (e.g., HR shared services (Zoetis Colleague Services))• Create a culture that enables organizational change and drives adoption of large scale transformation initiatives as necessary. Currently, act as primary HR liaison for NextGen ERP project, liaising with Organizational Change Management, as well as Talent Acquisition, to ensure organizational readiness• Monitors HR data and trends and leverages business intelligence to provide new insights using Data and People Analytics.• Actively promotes and reinforces the Zoetis Core Beliefs.Education and Experience:• Bachelor's degree required.• 7 + years of HR Experience, preferably as a HR Business Partner or in Employee Relations with experience leading investigations.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities at a brisk pace and flexibility to meet business needs• Able to work in a collaborative environment and demonstrates a "One Zoetis" mindset. Champion of our core belief to "Always do the right thing."• Demonstrated success working in a global, complex organization across functions, regions, cultures, and levels.• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with senior level managers and executives.• Embraces change and views challenges as opportunities.• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software.
