Job Overview:
As the Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Analytics Manager at Zoop, you will play a critical role in shaping the company’s data strategy and driving data-informed decision-making. You will be responsible for designing and managing analytics platforms, building data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights to cross-functional teams. Your expertise will help guide Zoop’s growth strategies, optimize user experiences, and support various business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Platform Development:
- Design, implement, and manage Zoop’s data analytics platforms, dashboards, and data pipelines to provide a comprehensive view of business performance.
- Develop custom datasets and data models to enable advanced analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity and quality through the implementation of best practices and automated validation processes.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting:
- Lead the creation of BI reports and visualizations that effectively communicate insights and trends to key stakeholders, including leadership, product, and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing regular updates and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Advanced Data Analysis & Insights:
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for growth across user acquisition, engagement, and retention metrics.
- Support product and marketing teams with ad-hoc analysis, helping to optimize campaigns and measure the impact of new features or initiatives.
- Leverage predictive and prescriptive analytics to provide forward-looking insights that guide strategic planning.
- Web3 & Blockchain Data Integration:
- Develop expertise in analyzing blockchain and on-chain data to provide insights into tokenomics, user behavior, and platform adoption.
- Create data models that incorporate Web3 elements such as smart contracts, token transactions, and decentralized activities to inform platform development and community growth.
- Automation & Data Tooling:
- Implement automated solutions for data collection, transformation, and reporting, ensuring scalability and efficiency in data operations.
- Optimize existing data infrastructure and tooling to support real-time data analysis and visualization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to integrate data insights into strategic decision-making and planning.
- Provide data expertise and guidance for the development of new features, user experiences, and business models within the Zoop ecosystem.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or similar roles, ideally in the tech or digital economy sectors.
- Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and database concepts.
- Experience with BI tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) as well as blockchain data analysis tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Covalent, The Graph).
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with Web3 and blockchain technology is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in setting up data infrastructure and pipelines from scratch, especially in a Web3 or blockchain context.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of token economics, on-chain data analysis, and decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus.
