Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with extensive knowledge of DevOps and automation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, tools,
and infrastructure. They must have experience working with Kubernetes, Python, Terraform, and Ansible, as well as a deep understanding of software development and testing principles. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience
in both DevOps and automation, with a strong passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to support the development of software applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and requirements.
* Develop and maintain Python scripts for automating various testing tasks, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
* Utilize Terraform and Ansible to manage and provision infrastructure for testing and deployment.
* Work with Kubernetes to create and manage containerized applications and services.
* Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth integration of automated testing into the overall development workflow.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation, DevOps, and related fields.
* Continuously improve testing processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* At least 10 years of experience in test automation and/or DevOps
* In-depth knowledge of Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
* Experience working with containerized applications and services.
* Strong understanding of software development and testing principles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Pytest, Playwright.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP.
* Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Certification in DevOps or automation (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, ISTQB Foundation Level).
Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
