About the role I started with the company as an activities assistant, where I supported the Activities Director by proactively developing new activities and outings for residents. I supported residents in the execution of 3-4 activities per day and implemented resident feedback to ensure favored entertainment. After college, I returned as an administrative assistant, where I supported our leadership team with daily tasks. I directed over 50 phone calls a day to various leadership team members and monitored the calendars of two executive leadership team members to ensure a smooth flow of their schedules. In this role, I learned to build meaningful relationships with residents, other team members, family members, and vendors entering the community. After almost three years, I was promoted to Business Office Manager. In this role, I have become the first point of contact for residents and family members regarding concerns over their apartment and billing issues. I advocate for our current residents and in turn contribute to our resident retention by ensuring that their concerns are handled in a timely matter. I have developed onboarding material for the roughly 8-10 new move ins we have each month. I created and implemented an employee anniversary recognition program to highlight the employees with tenure, starting with their first year.
