an artist. As a child, I was always been passionate about art. I would draw anything from anime characters to perfume bottles. I was truly inspired to create my own line of perfume bottles someday.
Originally, I had wanted to become an actress. I had stared in a few productions in high school and had starred in a movie back in Grade 5 titled “Dwezzle Learns His Lesson”. Sadly, I never pursued that dream due to my fears and anxiety in making it as a performer.
I designed the poster to my Grade 12 play production of “The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch”. Fun fact: I never took any formal training in design before designing this poster.
After my last semester at Sheridan College, I took 3 years off to earn money to go back to school. During that time, I was working in two restaurants doing everything imaginable. Cleaning tables, mopping, serving customers, opening and closing the store, stocking inventory, cooking— you name it, I did it all.
Back in 2017, I had the honour of being part of Habitat for Humanity's GTA Build Day Program. With Holman Exhibits, I got the experience of working in a crawl space and move heavy equipment. An experience I will never forget..
After my first internship with Holman Exhibits back in 2019, I didn’t feel comfortable working a 9-5 job. I had this feeling, I wanted to learn more and grow as a designer. That’s when I decided to freelance. Truly, one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.
