Lead Content Designer December 2021 — Current time
About the role CheckPoint is an international cybersecurity company headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel. For over a year, I have served as a lead UX writer to the lead UX designer in that location. Our projects have ranged from writing communication to redesigning the partner dashboard, the company help desk, the product catalog, and, most recently, their new AI-powered support center and bot. Here are some of my most significant contributions as the company's lead UX writer: - I assisted in localizing dashboard content from Hebrew to English, selecting new terminology to guide users through the experience more intuitively. - I improved the information architecture of a cluttered and confusing help desk screen. By combining redundant tickets, offering relevant information as microcopy, and streamlining the user flow, we decreased the number of monthly help desk tickets submitted. - In rewriting the Renewal Tool, I found numerous opportunities to route users directly from subscription status reports to the product catalog or quote tool, meeting the business goal of selling upgraded products and renewing contracts. - I am currently leading the content design team in writing for the new AI-powered help center. Together with the design team, we have crafted an intuitive, conversational bot experience to walk customers through troubleshooting and reporting issues with their devices.

Lead Content Designer December 2023 — Current time
About the role Beti is a project management app for construction companies. It has been highly successful in Israel and is now expanding to the United States. In late December 2023, I joined the team as the lead UX writer, working to localize the experience for the U.S. market. Here's what I've accomplished in my first four months on the job: - I conducted an in-depth competitor analysis and prepared and presented a research report to inform decision-making regarding prioritizing features and copy choices. - I applied my research findings to a content style guide. In the guide, I laid out a content mission statement and brand archetype, defined the product's voice and tone, and developed guidelines for formatting the copy. I presented the content style guide to the organization and then worked with the product manager to implement it across the design and development teams. - I audited the existing content and then interviewed key stakeholders to understand the reasoning behind certain design decisions and specific word choices. - I created a slide deck highlighting the product's features, development roadmap, and user value proposition, which was used to secure the company's series B funding ($15 million). - I worked closely with the design and development teams in Figma, proposing solutions to accessibility and usability issues.

Lead UX Writer June 2023 — August 2024
About the role Powerlead is an AI-based plugin for LinkedIn. This B2B data tool is coming to the market soon and is looking to disrupt the space by offering unlimited lookups for paid members. I was brought aboard the team approximately a month before the website and product were going into development. I quickly melded with the team and got to work creating content for the website and dashboard. Here are some of the other highlights of my work at Powerlead so far: - I was able to combine redundant sections and edit out some irrelevant information, creating a more streamlined user journey and enabling us to eliminate two pages from the initial project brief, saving time and money. - I drafted a mini content style guide (to meet the demands of our timeline), which developed the voice, tone, and general stylistic guidelines for Powerlead's product. - I reimagined the proposed website layout in Figma and created copy for the 12 pages/sections of the website. - I wrote all of the interface copy for the LinkedIn plugin. I addressed empty states, error messages, success messages, toasts, and all aspects of the customer-facing product. - I wrote the voiceover scripts for Powerlead's how-to and marketing videos. - I helped map the scenarios requiring written additional communication and drafted the related SMS communications and transactional emails.
